Ceramic knife sharpener

  Product Description The ceramic sharpening steel T0843C will provide excellent results when re-sharpening or honing the cutting edge of your metal-based knives, scissors, and cutting tools. The super fine grit does not actually sharpen or remove any metal from the blade, but instead slightly "pushes" the metal into shape. Place heel of your knife at the top of sharpening rod at preferred angle. With consistent downward pressure on the cutting edge, push the knife down the rod while pulling the knife towards you from the hell of the blade to the tip of the blade. Repeat step 4 on other side of knife blade. Repeat Steps 4 & 5 until knife is sharp.   Caution: This hone is made from ceramic material and is breakable.
