The function of the hydrogen refueling cooler is to reduce the temperature of the hydrogen gas injected into the hydrogen refueling machine, ensuring safe refueling.
1. High compactness: small size, light weight, and space saving.
2. Widely applicable media: The working medium can be water, ethylene glycol aqueous solution, hydrogen gas, etc.
3. High efficiency: extremely high heat transfer coefficient, achieving the highest heat transfer efficiency.
4. Low temperature resistance: It can withstand temperatures up to -253 ℃.
5. High pressure resistance: After multiple high-voltage tests, it can withstand a high pressure of 100MPa and has good safety.
Before refueling, due to the Joule-Thomson effect, the temperature of hydrogen gas increases. Therefore, hydrogen gas is introduced into the hydrogen cooler and exchanges heat with ice cold medium (such as ethylene glycol aqueous solution) or circulating cooling water to reduce the temperature of hydrogen gas. Then, it is introduced into the main body of the hydrogenation machine for refueling to ensure its safety.
