1. EN10210 Hot Rolled/Finished Hollow Section

EN10210 is a European standard for hot rolled/finished structural hollow sections. EN10210 hot rolled/finished hollow section refers to the steel hollow section variant of the produced steel pipe that meets the European standard EN10210. EN10210 specifies the size, material, and performance of hollow sections used in construction and engineering applications. These en 10210 hot rolled/finished hollow sections have a wide range of applications, including the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. EN10210 hot rolled/finished hollow section is also used in mechanical and equipment manufacturing, vehicle chassis and body frames, and many other applications that require sturdy and lightweight components.

2.The Forming Process Of EN10210 Hot Rolled/Finished Hollow Section

(1) The raw materials include steel coils, welding wires, and welding flux. Strict physical and chemical testing must be conducted before investment.

(2) Single wire or double wire submerged arc welding is adopted for butt joint of strip steel head and tail, and automatic Submerged arc welding welding is adopted for repair welding after being rolled into square pipe.

(3) Before forming, the strip steel undergoes leveling, edge cutting, edge planning, surface cleaning, transportation, and pre bending treatment.

(4) The use of an electric contact pressure gauge to control the pressure of the hydraulic cylinders on both sides of the conveyor ensures the smooth transportation of the strip steel.

(5) Adopting external or internal control roller forming.

(6) The use of a weld gap control device ensures that the weld gap meets welding requirements, and the pipe diameter, misalignment, and weld gap are strictly controlled.

(7) Both internal welding and external welding are performed by Lincoln electric welding machine with single wire or double wire submerged arc welding, so as to obtain stable welding specifications.

(8) The completed welds have undergone online continuous ultrasonic automatic damage detection, ensuring 100% non-destructive testing coverage of the welds. If there are defects, automatic alarm and spray marking will be given, and production workers can adjust process parameters at any time to eliminate defects in a timely manner.

(9) Cut the square tube into individual pieces using an air plasma cutting machine.

(10) After being cut into a single square tube, the first three square tubes of each batch shall be subject to a strict first inspection system to check the mechanical properties, Chemical composition, fusion condition, surface quality of the square tube, as well as the non-destructive inspection to ensure that the tube manufacturing process is qualified before being officially put into production.

(11) The parts with continuous sound wave inspection marks on the weld seam undergo manual ultrasonic and X-ray re examination. If there are indeed defects, they are repaired and undergo non-destructive testing again until it is confirmed that the defects have been eliminated.

(12) The pipes where the strip steel butt weld and the J-joint intersect with the spiral weld are all inspected by X-ray television or photography.

(13) Each square tube undergoes a hydrostatic test, and the pressure is sealed radially. The test pressure and time are strictly controlled by the square tube water pressure microcomputer detection device. Test parameters are automatically printed and recorded.

(14) Mechanical processing of the pipe end ensures accurate control of the perpendicularity, groove angle, and blunt edges of the end face.

Pipe material warehouse → quenching, normalizing heating → water quenching → tempering heating → high-pressure water descaling → sizing → cooling → straightening → cooling → removing oxide scale → inspection of the inner surface of the left pipe end → inspection of the inner surface of the right pipe end → inspection of the inner surface of the right pipe end → inspection of the pipe body → manual outer surface inspection → water pressure test(optional) → collection and storage
